Submission + - Out of control Relaunching of Google Chrome (googleblog.com)

Cyb3r0yst3r writes: I'm getting sick and tired of having to relaunch Google Chrome every time there's an update, which is happening more frequent now then ever before. I have 6 instances of Google accounts I maintain for my consultant firm, and when I relaunch, it only starts at one, then I have to log back into all the others because of increased security. This process takes about 5-6 minutes, and once a week minimum adds up. Is anyone else experiencing Relaunch frustration?

Wow, you're so fast to jump the gun here. I'm not saying others won't increase their price; I certainly would. But to follow a dying company like Acer IMO, is like following trends at Radio Shack - who cares. Acer IMO doesn't set trends, produces sub-par products, and is no challenge for the bigger tech manufactures. I do expect to see higher prices, but do yourself a favor, stop using Windows v3.1 and Netscape to read your news.

I get that part, but if you look at Acer, I don't think other manufacturers are seriously looking at Acer for guidance. It's a dying company. Look at their stock over the last year, -17%, -50% (max time), so unless Acer is the epitome of computer manufacturers, I don't think others have anything to worry about.

First, I love the State of California for all its natural beauty and climate. As a high-income earner, I left the state and never returned after moving to a tax-free state, which instantly gave me a 12% pay increase, but that's a different topic for another story that's been beaten to death. I would love to return. When people ask me where the one place on Earth I would choose to live: Southern California. Yet, I cannot return without losing a substantial amount of money. Second, FIX THE BIG ISSUES. Quit wasting your time and taxpayer dollars going after the low-hanging stuff. You have a massive problem California, and suing these big cola companies is NOT going to fix anything. Crime, homelessness, decaying infrastructure... did I mention crime? There are some parts of cities in California that look like 3rd world countries, and it's not getting any better. So what exactly would be my motivation to return? None at this time, and foreseeable future which honestly saddens me. At this point, all I can hope for is that California comes up with a lucrative package for retirees because it's going to take a long time to reverse the damage that's been done and continues to this day. This isn't a democrat or republican issue, this is a human issue that is solvable BY THE RIGHT PEOPLE. And the folks they have in charge of the cities and state today is obviously not working.

Do these people realize that these corporations are not set up as a non-charitable, community, self-help, therapy entitlement, pandering organization --- these are FOR-PROFIT entities? They don't need you, workers need them. To forcibly demand action by your employer is nothing short of insubordination and should not be tolerated. Don't like what your employer stands for? Leave. It's as simple as that. People that complain about TV, radio shoes - don't like it, don't put it on in the first place. Don't like the country you're living in, and the stance and actions it's taking. Leave. Go to a country that best represents you, where you feel comfortable. I'll wait.
