zdnet has an artice on this, link below. Basically, the e-service itself is *not* legally binding (yet!), and must be followed up with traditional service to count. Those receiving the e-subpoenas do not have to act until they get the paper version, but then run the chance of pissing off the judge making the order - not a legal issue, but definately a political one.
