I'm right there with you... plus backspace. Only the Menu toolbar is visible on any of our computers.
I do mine pretty much the same way. (Basically a chaotic Dewey.)
My really BIG books share a shelf with the knick-knacks.

It isn't easy being the parent of a six-year-old. However, it's a pretty small price to pay for having somebody around the house who understands computers.
