I was a strong proponent early 2000 when I was working with Telstra. If we invested more strongly in mobile infrastructure (faster rollout of fiber specifically for towers, more towers, country etc) instead of the nbn boondoggle, then we wouldn't need fiber to the prem. The closer that tower gets to me, the better my latency with the tower. Most peoples homes are wifi internal anyways.
The best download I have had on 5G so far is 550MB/s. I have had that on Telstra for almost 2yrs now. And I can only get Sky Muster where I live... So yeah, very superior.
