Journal Com2Kid's Journal: Lord Of The Rings is a tale of exploitation. 4

Think about it for a moment, a group of hobbits are recruited to save the world so that humans can take it over. In the process all of the Dwarves, Hobbits, and other races will be completely wiped out. Now who does this recruiting? None other than the one last "trusted" human out there! The so called "Gandolf the White".

In the process of "saving" middle earth, all races other than humans are eliminated! How convenient! Bleck! And using two hobbits to do it as well!

That and in my opinion, Gandolf never got enough action in the books. Sure he is an "insanely powerful wizard" but we never read about him disi

  • After all, LOTR was written by an Englishman. Proud voice of the people who used one native group to wipe out another for hundreds of years.
