They have close ties with elements of government that hate free speech, and are working closely with corrupt elements of the DNC behind close doors for the benefit of their largest multinational corporate sponsor. They are privately extremely unfriendly to the tech community, despite the name, and are more interested in liberal activism and government contacts than actual code. I wouldn't recommend supporting them without careful research. It may sound like a good cause, but scams often pull at the heartstrings.
