As long as you don't drive more than ~300 miles at a time and charge at home, you'll probably only use a supercharger a couple times throughout the life of the car when you go on a road trip or drive to the other side of the state. Obviously a few exceptions, but for 99% of people it's all that is needed.

A buddy of mine worked at Yahoo about ~10 years ago and one of his coworker engineers worked on the most boring/basic coding projects. He had maybe half a dozen patents to his name and was worth tens of millions but decided of all places that Yahoo was where it's at. I'm sure the money was good, the free lunches are nice, etc... but there is always something more than just the money. No idea what it was there though...

Agreed. A 70"+ tv, a basic sound system, and the ability to pause to go take a leak beats movie theatres any day. Plus, the options of cheap beer, dog in lap, and many other things that would never be possible. Let the theatres die.

I am guessing that it doesn't take much effort to come up with slight alterations of molecules that will be bad for people/animals to ingest. Even L/D isomers of the same drugs can have quite different effects. That being said, this AI should never be allowed to be hooked up to a molecule creation device of any sort.
