That's b/c God didn't *put* life on Earth until recently.

The Lord, Himself, has not created these modern commodities that we use today. How can one even *think* of calling upon our God with prayers about "emails" or "the Internet" and other man-made things. We shall pray for the well-being of ourselves and others, for forgiveness of sins, etc. In fact, the new testament tells us *how* we should pray..

"Our Father, who art in heaven. Hallowed by Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil..... For the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory are yours now and forever! Amen"

OK, my PARISH doesn't go around preaching to non-Catholics and trying to convert people.

They were just way too pushy. OMG and I don't even know how they call themselves a church. I'm Catholic and we just go about our own business and don't try to convert anyone or make people believe what we believe.

That's not even funny!! I think Catholics are the most peaceful people. We don't start trouble with anyone. Just cause you heard something on the news about a couple bad priests, you're making jokes about the whole Catholic community. Most people who commit crimes like that aren't even Catholic. Everyone at my church is so friendly and our pastor most certainly would not ever do anything to a child.

Do scientologists even believe in Christ ?? They only believe in science, right ? So, why do they even call it the Church of Scientology. It's so not a church.

Church is a place to give thanks and praise to God and only God.

I seriously don't get this!

The most important thing isn't a physical thing at all. It's your spirit. God gave us all a physical body and a spirit. Our spirit will exist eternally and our physical body is only temporary and our physical body can't exist without our spirit.

Just as the Father and The Son are bound together in the unity of the Holy Spirit, our bodies are bound to our spirit. The heavenly Father, Christ, and the Holy Spirit are all of the same substance (as determined by the council of Nicea--Nicene Creed)....our bodies and our spirits are not of the same substance. Hence, our physical self will die but our spirit will live on in God's kingdom.

In conclusion, our spirit is the most important! :)

We really don't know how long it will be. God has promised that Christ will come again, in glory, the judge the living and the dead and that we will live in His kingdom that has no end. But what God didn't tell us is when that's gonna be. Since there are gonna be humans on Earth all the way until Christ returns, we really don't know how soon the last human will be born. Carrie
