If you have ever played any of the Final Fantasy series, you would know that ALL of the characters have a major role in the game and each have their own personality. they aren't just an image to get you through the game. Also, the Final Fantasy series has always had a very ivolved plot and storyline. There is no lack of identity or personality on games like Baldur's Gate or Morrowind. You create the character, you have the choice of where to go, what to say, who to kill, ally with. . . basicly,
