Submission + - YouTube censors documentary on Palin's churches (talk2action.org)

Charles Dodgeson writes: "Talk2action.org is reporting that a 10 minute documentary video on Governor Palin's church titled "Palin's Demon Haunted Churches" was removed from YouTube for "inappropriate content" without any elaboration. The content of the video appears to be well documented. It appears to have been removed from flixya as well. I first saw it discussed here which also hosts a down-loadable Quicktime movie. The streaming flash is available on vimeo."

Submission + - Warner Bros. backs Blu-ray

Charles Dodgeson writes: "The New York Times is reporting that after being courted by both Toshiba for HD-DVD and Sony for Blu-ray, Warner Brothers will move exclusively to Blu-ray for high definition releases at the end of May. Combined with speculation that Apple will go with Blue-ray, it is looking like we're reaching the tipping point and the format wars will come to a resolution."
