Journal Chacham's Journal: Question: Ebay page reload problem. See it too? 8
Went to ebay and clicked Sporting Goods, then clicked Excersise&Fitness (link was here).
Now the page continues to reload. And, wow, does it ever go to a bunch of links.
I'm using Mozilla (1.71 for Windows). Anyone else come accross this problem?
It worked ok for me (Score:1)

Maybe it's a cookie thing, or some other setting that i have blocked.
Hmm.. it works now. I think you fixed it!
I had a similar thing happen, but a different site (Score:2)
Then I was forwarded to
http://www.weather.com/[?]/[?]/jump.html
the
http://www.weather.com/[?]/[?]/jump3.html
then back and forth a few times until I stopped it.
I then put "weather.com" into the address bar and pressed Enter and it loaded up fine.
I tried the "weather" and Ctrl+Enter again and it worked fine, no jumping around.
Really weird.

It happened over a few hours. So, who knows?

They're doing browser-detection since about the 12th. It sucks, because some of the really cool things, like, oh, the little arrow that allows you to mark things after they've been shipped.
If you fake your browser-string, it works fine. It works for ie (most strings) but not for netscape 4 agent string, and not for firefox or I believe mozilla. *sigh*
