NGS is a work-in-progress project which is an attempt to create a shell for this new domain. Some of the highlights: real programming language in addition to command line syntax, data structures, better and more consistent syntax, extensibility, support for cloud, better UX.

Additionally, spammers had gotten ahold of the passwords, and were logging into people's accounts and adding porn, pharmaceutical, and gambling links to each site's index page. The intrusions all happened within the last three weeks.
If anyone hosts with Dreamhost, you are advised to check index.php files in the root directory of each of your sites. Any added links will have been appended to the end of the file, set to be hidden via CSS. Of the 10 sites hosted on my account at Dreamhost, 9 contained the appended links."
