After Windows 7, Windows 8 pushed me back into trying Linux on the desktop. (Arch/XFCE for me) But however much I love Linux, I'm not a religious fan boy. When I bought a new laptop with Windows 10, I wasn't sure it was worth the effort to get everything working under Linux since 95% of my use is in-browser anyway. So I stuck with Windows. But THIS.... THIS is the thing that's forcing me away from Windows. It's MY computer. I'm so sick to death of every app needing an online account. I'm over Android now for the same reason. Just let us use our computers the way we see fit!
