âoeThere is about the same evidence for zoological as there is for lab leak.â That statement defies logic. The second sentence of the Wikipedia article on the lab leak theory says: âoeThis claim is highly controversial; most scientists believe the virus spilled into human populations through natural zoonosis.â That sentence has a dozen citations. Why would most scientists (people who presumably base their decisions on evidence) choose one over the other if they had equal evidence? They are bad scientists? Just completely biased? That seems like a stretch itself. Scientists are like any other group, the Pareto principle generally holds, and no more than 20% are that bad, and certainly not a majority.

What youâ(TM)re saying makes sense in principle, but in reality Tesla canâ(TM)t afford the risk that a court will see things that way. A court might say it was foreseeable that people would modify their power walls and Tesla didnâ(TM)t take steps to prevent it and thus is responsible at least partially for the damage. Ergo, Tesla has no doubt been advised by its legal team to strenuously attempt, beyond mere sales agreements, to stop people from modifying their products.
