That's me with most of these hacker douchebags. I'd just collect the damn money and shut up about it. No bragging. No Discord. No groups. No associates. This is why the state-sponsored ones are so effective. It's actually their job and they're accountable to someone. So very few meme culture shitlord egotists.

Shoutout to my fellow IT workers who have tried to get electrical utilities to do literally anything. Our small site UPS was reporting voltage out of range and they fixed it after 5 calls, 4 staff technician visits, 2 recorders, and 4 weeks. It was a bad component in the sub-station that was "very old" according to them. Their solution to stopping 129V from coming in overnight was to switch that one off and hope the rest can handle the load.
Now imaging trying to order several megawatts. Usually, the new construction department is different than maintenance, but sounds like they're having a similar experience.

You know what the average low tech user adopted Chromebooks and Android and iOS so quickly? Because they open a web browser and do something and then turn it off. Email is all on the web. Youtube and Netflix are on the web. As long as the web browser works, the computer does computer things and the less crap popping up, getting in their way, the better. People don't even want to know what OS they're running. They just want it to do what they need it to do. That's why nobody ran Linux daily in the early 2000's because they needed a mail app, word processing, etc. Now there's GSuite for free.

Now look at low knowledge gamers. Does it power on, open my game, let me play it, then turn off? Then they don't care if it's a windows gaming PC, Linux, Playstation, or Xbox. Some people care a lot, like ones with high tech knowledge and skills, but the majority of people want to treat it like an appliance, not a platform. So since Valve nailed it on making it "just work" to the average user, adoption will continue to skyrocket. And I'm glad MS is losing money and heading for a wakeup call after around $900 billion in stock value losses.

People who are morbidly obese are not feeling hungry all the time, they're dopamine addicts that like the feeling food gives them. They eat whether they're hungry or not. We already have an appetite suppressant - it's called dietary fiber. It makes you feel full. Doesn't stop the addicts. That's why that new weight loss shot works so well. It stops people from feeling happy from eating. So this is a nonsense invention that won't do anything.

You're forgetting that if it becomes 25% of all traffic then suffers employee sabotage, a hack, a glitch, or communication outage, that collectively happen all the time, it could shut down an entire city or country. That's why this self driving garbage shouldn't be allowed for at least 20 years until they get the tech perfect enough to be locally autonomous.
