I am not a fan of Assembly but it is still one of the most widely used programming languages for hardware and low resource applications: Camera's Automobiles PCB Calculators MP3 Players Portable Gaming Devices Small Electronic Devices 90% of those use Assembly so even though they have also a non-existent purpose in any environment where C/++ is the most logical choice they still have hundreds of thousands of applications.
