Quick thought on SRP vs SSH. From the quick glance at the SRP web site, it seems to me that SRP only offers secure password transmission and forgoes on packet encryption, offered by SSH. The two solutions differ very much. Therefore I could still be able to sniff yyour traffic and possibly gleam other important info, after the login ( su anyone ??? ). Note, I did only glance at the site while munching my lunch at my desk while troubleshooting a networking issue and chatting on IRC.
