You've got Desktop-OCD too? I do the exact same thing. My QuickLaunch area has a few folders which, when clicked, expand to the programs/files I need/access most often. Otherwise, it's a clean desk with a big happy evil smiley face. Good times, good times...

That, or a Russ Bassett media cabinet.

They make cabinets for all sorts of physical storage application. A bit costly, but it's gear that will stand up to the test of time and won't break, nor is it cardboard that could easily get waterdamaged or somesuch.
