Having used both extensively, C# is such a better language than Java in every single way, especially in frameworks and tooling. Java has stagnated so badly in the past decade, that even their attempt at virtual threads was a disaster. No async/await keywords, not dynamic hardware thread use, no good package management system, huge number of exploits and middleware problems, and no alternative to Spring and all the legacy that comes with that. C# is light years ahead on performance as well.

Comment No, it cannot store that much information (Score 2) 39

Whoever came up with the line “... a system of 300 quantum bits can store more information than the number of particles in the known universe” should probably have their nerd license suspended. Yes, 300 qubits form an insanely large state space, but that doesn’t mean they store that much information. Calling it “storage” is very misleading terminology. By that logic, throwing 300 coins into the air stores a massive amount of information. :)

It is amazing to think about how few good comedies there where in the 80's and 90's. I can name them on one hand across 20 years of movies. Basically, most comedies suck. Why make something that has a high chance of sucking - especially now making a Hollywood movie is far more expensive than it used to be.

This is nonsense "Whenever companies are more productive, they hire more people". I can tell you from personal experience, I have seen massive layoffs at companies with skyrocketing profits and high output. Companies hire when they NEED people, that's it. And if AI replaced the need, then it replaces the people.
