Only solution to the lack of linux games is simply market share. Market share is what feeds the need for windows and aol and everything else. If more independant programers start companies and develop better linux games for profit then the big guys are going to take notice. It will create competition and the only response the big guys will have is to go where the market does. To linux! That's life and buisness plain and simple. Make and then expand the market.
Where loki failed. Loki failed because they were porting windows games to linux not making better linux games. Picture this...a first person shooter with the polish of the Winblows FPS's, the addiction of EverCrack and only available as a linux native game. Now imagine that there are 50+ companies out there turning out these games for the linux platform. Where is the market going to go? End of story.
