I agree, but to say that this is Charlie Rose for nerds, isn't Charlie Rose already for nerds? Unless you are under 10 watching PBS pretty much makes you a nerd.
It appears that PL/I (and its dialects) is, or will be, the most widely used higher level language for systems programming. -- J. Sammet
