Is it just me, or have people from the UK only
recently started referring to corporations as
plural entities? Suddenly I'm surrounded by
phrases such as "Apple are as bad as everyone"
Has it always been this way, and I'm just in the
dark? The Economist using the "American"
usage of a corporation as a single entity, so I
don't know what to think.
Not a grammar rant, just a query.
