Allright, lets say that I have the prior art to finally throw out the One-click-shopping patent. Step 1: I submit the information to the BountyQuest site.
Step 2: The middle man (BountyQuest) send the information on to the Poster.
Step 3: The poster then decides for him/herself if the submital is relavant.
Step 4: I sit with my thumb up my butt waiting to see if I was the first to submit and win the Bounty.
Step 5: Pay Uncle Sam
The previous illustration was put forth in order to point out the lag time between submittal and submittal feedback. For demonstration purposes, what if I am the first to submit my prior art criteria. Lets also say it's missing a small detail that I can easily acquire. There is no way of finding out my error, there is also no way of knowing if I am on the right track.
My beef is with having informaiton and the host not giving me timely feedback. I feel that motivation to keep digging for more information may cease without some communication between parties. I'm not trying to pick on BountyQuest, I simply feel ther may be a glitch in the system. What do others have to say about this?
