First, one can APPLY for a patent on anything. Doesn't mean it will be granted. Post says its only an application.
Second, USPTO site has only one patent app for Lenovo, application #20050064866, titled "Combined long and short distance wireless communication system and its method", which may or may not be implemented on a tablet, but certainly isn't FOR a tablet.
