Re:Napster Proof? (Score 1)

I would like to put in my 2 cent. I love the idea of sampling music over the internet because it gives me a chance to listen to the artists before buying their CDs. It doesn't pay to buy a CD with only one song you like on it. I feel like I am not getting my money's worth if one song I like on the CD is 15.95. If I am going to be paying that much for a CD, then I would like to have more than 4 songs on the CD that I could continue to listen to over and over again. Napster gives me a chance to try out some songs over the internet before I shell out money for a CD. Even though, I have downloaded TONS of music from Napster, I still go out and buy CDs to support the artists but some songs are very hard to find on CDs when you go shopping for it and that's where Napster comes in because I am sure there are alot of users who may have the same interest that I may have that I could download from their computer. This is how it works, if I don't like the songs I am hearing over on the internet, it only takes a second to delete it off of the computer and try something else out. What's the big deal of sharing files with one another?!?! As long as it is not hurting anyone or a threat to anyone then I can't see why there's any harm in downloading something we all like and that is music or movies!!! These days, EVERYTHING is on the internet!!!! Businesses are on the internet, we shop online or do other things on the internet. If you download music from Napster and like it, then go buy a CD from the artists to support them. Man, I am having a blast downloading music from Napster, it was my younger brother who got me started in downloading music off of the internet!! I hope Napster will live on!!! If ANYTHING, Napster is supporting the artists because people like me, we like to try out the songs on the internet and if I like what I hear, then we go out and buy their CDs. Napster is helping the artists by showing us what is out there over on the internet. If it wasn't for Napster, I would have never bought so many CDs because it was them that let me try out the music, then I go out and buy CDs to support the artists!!!! Gosh, I spent over $100.00 on CDs because of the variety of music that I enjoy listening to. I download music from Napster, then go out and buy CDS, it's a way to go!!! Plus, it's fun to listen to music from Napster while you surf the net or play games on the internet. HURRAY for NAPSTER!! Two thumbs up!! Keep up the good work because there's MANY of us who will support you all the way!! I hope Napster will never shut down!! Well, that's my 2 cent worth!!!
