Let's compare apples to apples. If you only receive one satellite signal there is no need to skew the dish. 101 West has circular polarity so a basic 1 sat dish doesn't have a skew setting. This does not automatically cue into the nearest satellite. It only works on one satellite: 101 West. You still have to figure out the elevation and azimuth angle. The process is about the same for the old tripod dish or this new box. Should take less than 1 minute for alignment.
