Story Two: "How do Italians feel about inflation?"
She has a fine voice as her other performances demonstrate, but it was decided to "sweeten" it and/or make it unique by adding the voice of another actress's on top of hers. Perhaps not so noticeable when she was basically an unknown, but it's jarring now.

Alien Versus Predator almost made it to that format.
"In 2002, prerecorded D-VHS cassettes were sold under the brand name D-Theater in the US. While D-Theater is a D-VHS tape, it is incompatible with D-VHS decks not bearing the D-Theater logo. They provide content in both 720p and 1080i as well as at least one Dolby Digital audio track."

Wish I was totally kidding about that.
They must be dealt with!
Or is there an option to have ones taxes diverted from that that I'm unaware of?
Can we at least get the warheads we send overseas to be painted with smiley faces, and/or the logos of our choosing?
Call me cynical, but I imagine that they weren't gangbusters, or a major effort would have been made to keep the show on.
I'd be more sympathetic to them if their site hadn't in the past told me to sod off because, as a foreigner, I never paid a TV licensing fee. Ah well, the British have pioneered a lot of great shows, but they also inspired the world with their colorful pirates.
ST:TNG's first season, politicians copying the speeches of others, totally derivative science fiction made with the expectation that viewers are unaware of what's been written in the past, and so on.
And maybe if AI wrote the scripts for SF shows they wouldn't have ships moving at hundreds of times the speed of light navigated around obstacles by humans with a normal nervous system, and relying on the connection between their eyes and hands.
Lots of SF written many, many, years ago did a much less unrealistic job. Here's an example, which while not ideal, is in the public domain.
Imo any future AI that wants to take down some government officials a peg/make them crap their pants should insist on communicating with them only in the fashion that Colossus did.

Lol. Did you ever read The Moon is a Harsh Mistress? "Mike" turned out to be a "Dinkum Thinkum", but things could have gone differently.
