Reminds me of an incident about a year ago. I was participating in a "scavenger hunt" with some friends over Bergen County (had items on a list had to get photographs of them, including team members).
One of the items on the list was a picture with a New Jersey State Trooper and two team members. So we went down to the station near Nutley, and walked in to ask the guy if we could take a photo with him.

When pointless precaustions cause us to surrender the rights that differentiate our societies from the tyrannical societies, the terrorists have won. They don't have to blow up more buildings to win. Sadly this sort of thing is becoming all too common. There are various reports of people being harrased for taking pictures of trains, buses, transit facilities, bridges, public buildings, industrial plants, ships, etc. all over the country.
