New York City Marathon

Very cool. One of my friends applied for the lottery to get into the New York City Marathon. He's been running for a couple weeks and has gotten several others to do so with him as well.

I'm the only punk who's been slacking - ran twice in the last two weeks.

I doubt he'll even finish the race with a decent time, but it's a good effort. I'm so out of shape I'm not even sure I should try (takes me maybe 20 minutes to run 2 miles).

Would be pretty nice to get in shape and run the marathon in a couple

I have to say you guys have some pretty nice scenery up there, and great looking neighborhoods. Never really been to that part of the country myself.

It actually is a pretty nice place to live. There are very few places as nice as this with walkable neighborhoods close in to a major research institution that are not crime infested or have houses that sell for under 1Million or more. The houses particularly around the university are quite desirable, and close to just about everything. I can even bicycle
