It doesn't seem to be widely known, but the MS-DOS 6.0 source code was leaked at some point. However, if you look it up you will only see posts from late 2006 when it was indexed by google code search. There doesn't seem to be any information on how or when it was originally leaked it seems like for whatever reason it wasn't big news at the time.

Comment Bad news for Google Voice (Score 1) 416

Anyone that uses Google Voice for voip outside of gmail is routing their calls through Google Talk. This is pretty popular on Android using SIP and a pbx account but there are also some standalone applications that handle it. If Google ends up dropping Google Talk there are going to be a lot of pissed off Google Voice users.

Its obtuse only if you have paid for it. For the pirates, the activation is included in the ISO

...along with a root kit.

If you happen to be particularly clever, you look for images that come from MSDN. All it takes is a quick hash comparison to the subscriber downloads database and you can verify your image is unaltered. In most cases that is still easier than activating windows.
