When I'm benevolent fascist dictator, I'll put anyone to death who wants to fuck with the time, particularly those who want to go by GMT. That way nobody will be pissed off or bothered anymore about time shifts, well.... nobody except the poor schmucks who get put to death, but then... not for long. Farmers can get up extra early if they want, or not if they prefer, without fucking it up for the rest of us.
