Musk can demand what he wants and those folks are free to find new jobs. It's his company now. People like Musk and Steve Jobs have(had) high expectations for their employees because they have visions and make the impossible happen. Ambitious people who want to change the world want to work for them. Lazy paycheck collectors find these types of people "harsh". Maybe they are, but that's why they change the world. If you don't like it, don't go work for them. Nothing "inhuman" about it.

So basically he got of the people collecting 6 figures salaries that weren’t actually doing anything? Sounds like a win to me. Twitter is running just fine with 1/4 of the staff. Seems like cutting a bunch of waste. If you’re going to turn the ship around, the crew needs to be prepared to some rough waters.

I can't stop laughing at your suggestion that we should allow the inept federal government to dictate to private businesses how they should design their products and services. This is the worst possible idea in the history of worst possible ideas. This is a surefire way to kill American innovation.
