It's the perfect karaoke song. You don't really need to know the words since anybody can howl "celebrate good times, come on!" drunkenly. Best of all, it's a song that gets better the more people you can drag up to sing with you, so it's a good song for the shy. On the other hand, fewer people know the words to the nifty bridge, so that offers a chance for your more outgoing friends to show off. It's got something for everybody! "It's a celebration!"
