Why should it? The OS doesn't belong to the US government. It belongs to Microsoft. If they want to make the default browser IE, it's their business. If you don't like it, use Ubuntu. I don't like IE, but even more I don't like the government pretending that they own everything.

You might note though that they did this voluntarily vs. communism where it's done while looking down the barrel of a gun. That's a major difference.

Any application that automatically gets installed if you click through a wizard too quickly should be treated like a virus. iTunes and GoogleToolbar are two such applications. Good for Microsoft. Remove this trash.

They are only different because you've been desensitized to one and still view the other as disgusting.

While I'm not a huge fan of Macs, they DO have an actual user base. But Amiga? I'll admit, obscure systems can be kind of cool, but in all honesty, they're not relevant enough to warrant these kind of debates. It doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with the OS. It just means that no one really cares.

So exactly why is it that they can't hire dealers that can card count too? This would seem to be a better solution to me.

A lot of people have some funny ideas about rights are. Life, Liberty, Pursuit of Happiness, and 1MB Broadband access? Oh, Finland, you're doing it wrong.

When study results like this one are published, do you think that they're intentionally misleading the public or that they're simply THAT ignorant of cause and effect relationships. Bad parents let their children eat lots of candy. Bad parents raise children that commit crimes. Bad Parenting = the cause Candy = Effect #1 Crime = Effect #2 Candy is not a cause, it's an effect.

My attitude is generally, if rewriting is manageable, do it. You'll have a better fit for you r App. If rewriting isn't manageable, then reuse, but do so carefully. Taking on a project that's too big sucks, but when someone else's code doesn't wok correctly, have fun debugging it.
