Journal: my first story submission

In a preview of what may be comming down the pike in this country, Canada this year has chosen to apply the same election laws to blogs that, up until now, covered more conventional broadcast media: http://www.cbc.ca/canadavotes/analysiscommentary/blogreport.html#jan20. Fear of the federal elections commission has even caused the CBC's website to delete references to the bloggers in the US who plan to liveblog the election. A couple of seconds with google's blog search, however, quickly turned up a link to an American blogger who plans to start liveblogging the election results at 6:00 pm EST, four hours before the Canadian deadline. http://www.captainsquartersblog.com/ (Warning, High traffic site.)
