All car companies are the worst offenders when it comes to privacy/surveillance. Rather than banning Chinese cars, let's just make remote monitoring strictly illegal--with concrete penalties. It won't happen, but it would be in the best interest of consumers and national security.

Can we please start aggressively prosecuting the owners of systems that do this before all cyber crime becomes unprosecutable because there is no human with enough knowledge of the specific details? "It runs my 'company', but I don't really know how it makes money." I don't realistically see a path to avoiding this outcome, but it's horrifying.

I'm really curious to know if these are all primarily white collar jobs or if it's really a slice of the overall economy. I failed to find a quick (enough) answer.

"Since 1994"??? MS added "office" and "emoji" keys in their last iteration of their flagship ergo keyboard. The crazy thing is that one of these is a hard-coded key combination, not a key code, so you can't even remap it. The other crazy thing is that that there are named keys (in unix) that PC keyboard still don't implement. Howsabout adding a real new key we can use?
