I don't mind shutting off my cell-phone, but what I find really annoying is that whole shut-off-all-electronics-during-takeoff-you-terror ist-bastard deal. Like my pda is really going to interfere with their radio, what with it emitting about as much RF as a wrist-watch. Not only that, my Palm V is impossible to shut off completely, so hitting the little off button is purely cosmetic. Try explaining that to a stewardess - sorry, flight-attendant...
