WRONG! The vast, VAST majority of the greenhouse effect (80-90%) is caused by WATER VAPOR: ie clouds!!! In comparison, CO2 is a minor player! Look it up! If you've ever paid attention to the weather, you would have noticed that whether or not there is cloud cover makes a HUGE different in how much heat is lost overnight, radiated back into space. No cloud cover, and the temperature could fall 15Â-18Â overnight on certain nights. But WITH cloud cover, the temperature will remain pretty much the same overnight. And it's all from the clouds!!! The earth has balanced itself for the past SIX BILLION YEARS. It has suffered catastrophic meteor strikes and super-volcanoes. The "experts" (cough-cough-bullshit!!!) can't explain a whole bunch of temperature anomalies that have occurred just since the last ice age!!! That's why they've now EXVLUDED the last ice age from their discussion, and are now only comparing the last 2,000 years!!! That's laughable! Did you know that the sealevel dropped TWO HUNDRED FEET around 7-8,000 years ago??? Did you know that during the last ice age the GLOBAL TEMPERATURE INCREASED OVER 30Â F in just a couple decades???!!! Several times!!! The "experts" can't explain that! They can't make it fit into their alarmist, sky-is-falling narrative! So they entirely leave it out of the discussion!!! The biggest problems we have are over -population and pollution. They are going to take out mankind thousands of years before global warming ever causes us a problem. When we've over-fished the oceans to extinction, and there's so much garbage floating in the oceans that the planktons & seaweeds don't get enough sunlight to make oxygen, and you can't drink the water or breath the air, who's going to care if the average temperature is .25Â warmer??? The earth will survive, even as it has to rid itself of mankind!

Caveat Emptor, and Look BEFORE You Leap! BEFORE!!! This happened... A guy working in the US hated his co-workers and boss. Of course, it was mutual! He hears about a job in Mexico, which includes free housing! He transfers there, and discovers his wages are now only Mexican pay scale wages, and the "free housing" is a room in HIS BOSS'S APARTMENT!!! -ROTFLMAO!!! He had to sign a lengthy transfer agreement, so he cannot transfer back to escape the nightmare. So he quits and that's that! The company probably celebrated getting rid of him, but let that be a lesson to us all!!! That "greener grass" over there might be boiling oil, not the paradise that we imagined!!!

Also, here on Slashdot I keep seeing people's comments that are blank but say, "filtered due to preferences", including some of YOUR comments. What causes this, and where can one go to adjust these mysterious "preferences" so I don't have to suffer through censored content?

Hey, Mark of the North! Do you mind sharing which cordless headphones you use? I've been walking up to 15 miles at a time for exercise, and even at over 4 mph that takes several hours to complete. I've found I have to shut off services (wifi, Bluetooth, etc) on my iPhones in order to keep walk-tracking apps from depleting my batteries before I finish. I'd love to have wireless headphones for my walks, but doubt any could last say, 3.5 hours. Which do you use, and for how long?
