I have my own company, and I teach networking classes, mostly Novell and Linux. I do some consulting and I work on the classes on my server at home.

BUT...

Ok, so I missed the Certified Linux Profession exam TWICE by less that 30 points. But, I passed the Zenworks and Advance Novell Networking exams. XD

Once again I face taking a certification exam. I know that these exams are supposed to ensure that companies are getting people who know the subject, but do these exams really accomplish that? I've been doing this job for 8 eight years. If I don't know something, I look it up. If I can't find it in the documentation, I ask my friends in the industry.
