Journal Adaptive's Journal: Charity Shield 1

More Soccer! Tomorrow we play in the Charity shield. I think we play about 5 30min games. I felt I pulled up OK after the game against the Tigers 11.

I must say that they were really good. We were firmly beaten 6-2 - but I think we did a good job holding them to that. Needless to say that the pre-game preparation was non-existent. The jersies turned up as we were running on field. It was great fun though.

  • We actually played 3 games - each of half hour duration. I wanted to play in the second team but the first team was short on numbers so I was pulled in. I played left back for all three matches.

    In the first game we only had 9 players against a full strength beinleigh side. We fought hard, but they beat us 1-0.

    The second game we fielded a full strength side against Nunda. We beat them comfortably 2-0.

    The final match we were down to 9 players again. We played well and came away with a nil all dr
