That is the most accurate analogy I have heard regarding the CCP. And in terms of any STEM accomplishment of the CCP it is hard for me at least to overlook the practices of the CCP that it took to get to that accomplishment.

This is really a huge boost to Xbox's 1st party studios because in my own opinion Sony had far and away better 1st party games. Now this closes the gaps in my eyes. Microsoft just needs to wrangle in Bethesda's main studio from releasing just remasters of their old games (*cough *cough Skyrim) and reduce releases that are a buggy mess.

I think that is the main conundrum in all of this. How do you "fight" a totalitarianism nation that is the size/power of China? We definitely would not have a Ground War because that would be mutual assured destruction. How do you fight the fact that this app could be/is compromising our data & privacy, while not out right banning it? It is a difficult question, maybe give all the information to the people and let them decide? But in today's hyper partisan society I doubt people will listen to it if it is coming from a party that they appose....

Definitely agree, Google needs more competition in all the markets they are in.

This is news to me, I've never really had an issue with the home screen. But maybe I am just oblivious to issues people have regarding the home screen!

This seems like horrible planning on Apple's part, and I feel bad for all the developers whose apps are probably going to be negatively impacted (ratings wise) because they were not able to completely test out their app in iOS 14.

I'm still not sure why they need to rush anything really? Are people really clamoring for an iOS update?
