What folks were really looking for was a bloody hand reaching out of the (in)active screen to to grab them by the neck, give them a good shake to wake them from their teletubbyesque complacency.
It isn't easy being the parent of a six-year-old. However, it's a pretty small price to pay for having somebody around the house who understands computers.
