Before 2010's "Truth in Caller ID" act, and during the heyday of fly-by-night mom-and-pop VoIP telcos, you could call pretty much anybody, pretending to be anybody, and more or less get away with it. Seriously, no one should use OpenDNS. The solution to Charter's fuckery is to run your own caching DNS. The ideal software for this is djbdns. Just switching from your ISP's DNS servers to some fly-by-night third party's servers is RETARDED.
