FreeGeek is a 801.c.3 Nonprofit that accepts used computers and installs linux on them for use by disadvantaged communities.
They also recycle computer waste that they can't use.
They used to be only in Portland OR, but they're all over the place now. The one in Chicago is located at 3411 W. Diversey.
