Mary Lou Jepson of OLPC fame and many others are using FMRI+computers to read mental sounds and images, including text. She's now working for Facebook. Predicts as MRI resolution improves, minds can be read quite precisely. Her boss prolly wansta merge MRI+VR so that, on his terms, we can better connect.
