On OSX you should take a moment to check out Camino. It's normally a couple of steps behind the latest Firefox release, but it's far more Mac-like with full support for the 'Services' menu, Keychain, speelchequer, etc. To automatically get the latest Camino nightlies that are somewhat closer to the Firefox releases, you may be interested in CaminoKnight.

You may miss a few common Firefox plugins, but at least Adblock is there...

In my experience, most dealer parts stores _will_ ask for a VIN for your vehicle if you ask them for a headlight; that way they can ensure you get the right part for your model year.

However, a VIN is not taken as proof of rightful ownership - in fact I can buy parts for anyone else's car without question. Why should computer parts be any different?

By the way, VIN number contains a redundancy ;)

OK, I was gonna mod you 'troll', but I decided it would be best to counter your facile PAEDOPHILE!!1ONE jab with a couple of points of interest to, you know, give a little bit of context:

1. I assume you're talking about Aisha here, right? You cannot in all seriousness judge people who lived 1400 years ago by today's societal mores. Times change, history doesn't.

2. Educate yourself on the Age Of Consent in various countries today. For example, the AOC in Spain and Japan is currently 13, 12 in Mexico, and puberty in Bolivia. Ironically, in Saudi Arabia (Mo's birthplace) there are motions to establish 14 as the minimum age for marriage (extra-marital sex is illegal).

While #2 above might be an affront to your white Christian Western sensibilities, it has absolutely nothing to do with paedophilia.

See below. Everyone in Clearwater MUST vote. Every vote will be needed to be
sure Hibbard gets re-elected. The alternative is Rita Garvey who is an SP.

Lunch with your preferred Presidential candidates for a high price?

I have arranged a private one-hour luncheon with Ron Paul on 11/28 in St.
Pete when he will be in town for the CNN/YouTube Republican debate.

This luncheon is reserved for $1000+ donors to Ron Paul's presidential
campaign. 19 people so far have paid and confirmed and will have the honor
and pleasure of having lunch and communicating with Ron Paul directly.

From the head of the "Non Proffit" CCHR Bruce Wiseman

Go the the HELP committee website. The link is here.
Here you will see the names of the Committee members on the left hand
of the page. Please go to the individual websites of the Republican =
(this will take just a bit of leg work on your part by putting their =
into Google) and calling their office or sending a fax to them (email is =
least effective) stating your opposition to S. 1375 The Mother's Act.

Currently, the law prohibits political campaign activity by charities and churches by defining a 501(c)(3) organization as one "which does not participate in, or intervene in (including the publishing or distributing of statements), any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for public office."

An OCMB (Operation Clambake Message Board)regular adds :

I downloaded myself a copy and started looking through them. I found an interesting one on pages 47-48.

Karin Pouw of OSA of CofS writes a message.
It's forwarded by Michael Genung. He's the guy who runs ACSR, Association for Citizens Sociel Reform. ["CSR Background and Philosopy: CSR was founded in 2001 by a group of Scientologists and other like-minded individuals concerned with the escalating social ills in society. CSR's purpose is to work with in the field of public policy to bring about more effective and humane solutions to these social ills of illiteracy, criminality substance abuse and general decay of character."]

Then it's forwarded by Doyle Mills, of LEAF fame (Letters to the Editor Attack Force).
Then it's forwarded by Mary C. (possibly one of two Mary C's I'm thinking of, but unsure).
Then it's forwarded by Mike Kaplan, another person who runs an email list and forwards CCHR type stuff to CofS members.

If that ain't stringing a line from the CofS to CCHR and the CofS front group ("grassroots") movements, then I don't know what is!

Just a casual user passing on a message from the Enturbulation forum, this is already out there, there's no reason to attack the messenger."

Submission + - Possession of the Anarchist's Cookbook==Terrorist

Anonymous Terrorist writes: Back in the midsts of time, when I was a lad and gopher was the height of information retrieval I read The Anarchist's Cookbook in one huge text file. Submission + - Cuba Adopts Open Source

petro6 writes: "The AP wire released a story (you can find it on The Washington Post's website) stating, "Cuba's communist government is trying to shake off the yoke of at least one capitalist empire — Microsoft converting its computers to open-source software." Sources say it is difficult to say how long the transition will take. Cuba cites cost and security as a main motivator, but Bill Gate's description of open source developers as "some new modern-day sort of communists" perhaps speaks to an idealogical impetus. They are joining Venezuela which announced a similar move last year, and other countries such as China, Brazil and Norway in a move away from proprietary software."

US Group Wants Canada Blacklisted Over Piracy 585

An anonymous reader writes "Following up on an earlier story, the IIAA wants to add Canada to a blacklist of the worst intellectual property offenders. A powerful coalition of U.S. software, movie and music producers is urging the Bush administration to put Canada on an infamous blacklist of intellectual property villains, alongside China, Russia and Belize. 'Canada's chronic failure to modernize its copyright regime has made it a global hub for bootleg movies, pirated software and tiny microchips that allow video-game users to bypass copyright protections', the International Intellectual Property Alliance complains in a submission to the U.S. government."
