Because some of us just can't let go.

And, to be fair, OS4.1 and beyond is pretty good and is only available for new PPC hardware (like the Sam440, as well as the upcoming Sam460 and X1000). It comes with lots of GNU tools, gcc, a decent browser that actually works, good internet connectivity, and so on.

The sources are released under the GNU General Public License, and there's already an interest thread for pre-assembled boards on amiga.org suggesting a price around £40.

posterlogo writes: Do people find the tagging system to be useful? How frequently do you make use of it? Often I find stories tagged "haha", which doesn't seem to be all that useful for finding something specific, since more than half the stories get this tag. Worse, lately there's been a lot of politicizing — tags like "liberalpropaganda" or "republicansarefuckingfacists". These appear to be just another way to make an anonymous coward statement. Do you like the tagging system?

teknopurge writes: A new breed of javascript asm emulators is emerging. Check out one for the 6502 and another for the x86. Not as slick as VHDL, but definitely scores high on the geek-meter. Could these be used for teaching? For hacking? For impressing women at parties? Judge.
