I am from a race of biological entities originating from the depths of a hydrogen-oxygen hybrid compound, suffused with carbon, potassium and many other trace elements to form a biped humanoid structure who uses a Mac. I mean you no harm.
Hardware: 11 Macs, 4 PCs, a Palm IIIc, a Newton 120, and an AirPort base station. Looking for an old SPARCStation, NeXTCube, or microVAX, preferably all three. Family hates me.

Software: C/C++, Java, Perl, AppleScript, wildly varying degrees of (in)competence. Studying to be a junior Oracle [oracle.com] DBA.

Platforms: all things Mac OS, including X (ADC student member), RedHat & LinuxPPC, OpenBSD/mac68k, and the one [microsoft.com] I'm often forced to use at work [nih.gov]....which makes me sad [despair.com].
