Or you could, you know, line up with everyone else and vote Democratic, destroying the Trump (i.e. Republican) party. If literally no Republican candidate won, the party would die, leaving centrists and some conservatives with the opportunity to build a new party outside the "duopoly." That's at least as likely as there ever being enough Green Party voters to seriously influence national politics beyond their role as a spoiler.

You want my vote? Earn it! Run a candidate worth voting for. Until then I will vote for Jo Jorgenson. And yes, the intention is for your candidate to lose. And the other one as well.

But there are a very limited number of fixes to this problem. And to the customer, it IS a problem. One is to buy service from someone with no cap. That will be an option when caps get common. The other is to download less data. That is either through caching or filtering. And since ads are huge bloated monstrosities lately, they will be filtered. Or better yet, they will get billed (sued) for offloading cost. Which will give ad companies incentive to talk to their pet politicians about solving their problem and regulating those caps.

Unless the company is in oe foreign country, the front end is in another and the back-end in a third all with separate corporate vales... Suddenly the Pirate Bay business and hosting model is worth studying.
