Comcast has different tiers depending on the competition in the area. I live in NJ where FIOS is big around here and I pay $50 a month for just internet service which gets me 150 Mbps / 50 Mbps up and no data cap. Which is hysterical as up to about 3 years ago I was lucky to get 25 Mbps / 3 Mbps with a 250 GB data cap, until FIOS stepped up their advertising.

Yet you don't see politicians calling for all cars to automatically report back to the police when an impaired driver tries to start the car.

It's rather easy you just file a dispute on their website. 99% of the time they just remove it (even if it's a valid) if your bill is paid up with the current company. I did this with all 3 of the credit scoring companies and no problem for late or missed payments.

Collection agencies can not leave remarks on your credit report only the company that you owe the debt too.

It's not entrapment if they just ask you to do it and you do it without any resistance. If they went to the guy and then begged and pleaded with him telling him some sad story about why they need it and convinced him to do it after he said no, then that would be entrapment.
